Now is the time to play Butterfly Kyodai, a free mahjong puzzle game in which you must fuse together pairs of butterfly wings to make them fly. Playing Butterfly Kyodai is governed by many of the same principles as traditional mahjong. It's simple: simply make matches between adjacent squares along the board's borders. Butterflies will only be tallied if they can fly freely around the board. The user taps on a butterfly wing to choose it, and then taps again to combine it with another wing that complements it. Linear connectivity between tiles is required for matching. Such a path must not enter any neighboring cells or make a turn of more than twenty degrees. Only when two identical tiles are next to each other is this not necessary.
It's already challenging enough to clear all the tiles in a level without the added stress of a limited amount of time. A helping hand may be found, thankfully. You may rearrange the butterflies for a different look, and you'll be given three hints on where the pairings are.
Hints and reshuffles are available as rewards for completing levels to help you remember what you did. Tapping the magic wand tile might help you come up with a fresh combination when you're stuck. If you're stuck and need a little inspiration, just click the shuffle icon to rearrange the remaining tiles on the game board.
Click on a pair of adjacent butterfly wings to remove them from the game board in this free online mahjong flash game. These fluff balls on the board need to stop immediately!
How to play
The majority of the conventional mahjong rules are used while playing Butterfly Kyodai. You are only allowed to match pairings along the perimeter of the board. Butterflies that are separated from one another by other pieces will not be counted unless they are immediately next to one another.
