In Lost in Translation, you will be tasked with discovering the unique language spoken on the planet Thesaurus and creating an intriguing dictionary. You can achieve this by conversing with the locals and gradually deciphering the meanings of the words they use. To initiate a conversation, make your way toward a person and then click on them.

Even though they will only communicate in Thesauri, you will be able to deduce what they are saying if you pay close attention and listen attentively. Every time you learn a new term, write it down in your notebook. To access the notebook, click on the icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen. To translate the words as you learn, you can input your predictions right there in the notebook. The Thesauri may occasionally ask you a question, requiring you to respond in their language. Enter the correct answer in the text box. It is all about making educated guesses and experimenting with variety! In order to communicate successfully, you should observe and use your information.

How to play

Simply use the arrow keys or WASD keys to get closer to the resident you want to talk to, then click to start a conversation. The notebook is located in the bottom right corner of the game screen. When you come across a new word that you want to write down, you may do so by clicking on the notebook and using the keyboard to type down the vocabulary.
