RE:RUN is a fast-paced 3D platformer that throws you into floating arenas where time itself is your greatest ally and obstacle. Built around a unique rewind mechanic, every power-up you grab—be it a sword, hammer, or double-jump—sends you back to your spawn point, resetting your position but keeping your newfound abilities.
Enemy Types & Tactics
RE:RUN throws three main enemy types at you, each requiring distinct strategies to defeat safely and efficiently.
Red Swordsman
- The Red Swordsman is a melee-focused enemy that charges with aggressive swings.
- To handle them, bait their attack by staying just out of range, then dodge and counter with your sword (obtained via power-up).
Red Archer
- Red Archers attack from a distance, firing arrows that can catch you off guard mid-jump.
- Use the arena’s platforms as cover to block their line of sight, then sprint (Shift) or double-jump (if powered up) to close the gap quickly.
Blue Mini-Boss
- The Blue Mini-Boss is a tougher foe, combining high health with fast, precise attacks. Mobility is your best defense—use double jumps and sprinting to stay unpredictable.
- Attack only when you see an opening, like after the boss finishes a heavy swing. Precision is critical, so aim your mouse carefully to land hits (left click) while dodging.
Obstacles and Traps
RE:RUN’s arenas are littered with spike traps that can end your run in an instant. These are fixed in place but often blend into the chaotic battlefield. To dodge them, time your jumps (Spacebar) carefully and use double jumps (if available) to adjust mid-air.
Power-Up
Power-ups like swords, double jumps, and buffs are game-changers; however, before picking up a power-up, ensure you’ve cleared nearby enemies to avoid restarting in a crowded battlefield.
