Apple Worm's Path

Apple Worm's Path turns a growing worm into a careful route-planning puzzle. Eat red apples to add segments, then guide the longer body through tight spaces without hitting spikes or trapping yourself against a wall.

Plan Around Your Growing Body

The main challenge is that every apple changes how the worm moves. A new segment can help you reach parts of the level, but it also takes up more space. Since the worm cannot reverse direction, rushing into a corner can leave your body blocking the only way out.

Spike traps make positioning even more important. Touch one, and the attempt restarts, so you need to visualise the route before committing to each move. Later puzzles require tighter navigation and more precise control of the worm's tail.

Controls

  • WASD Keys / Arrow Keys: Move directionally across the grid
  • Tap Controls: Touch the screen to direct movement on mobile devices

Movement is based on deliberate grid-style positioning. Take the worm's increasing length into account before eating an apple or entering a narrow section.

Walls, Spikes, and Tight Paths

The worm's own body is part of the puzzle. A route that looks open at first can become blocked after the worm grows or turns into the wrong position. This makes Apple Worm's Path different from a simple collect-and-move game: reaching an apple is only part of the solution.

The difficulty ramps up quickly as layouts demand more careful planning. Some later challenges require you to loop the tail around specific tiles while avoiding spike hazards.
