Snake Twin Mode
Snake Twin Mode changes the usual rhythm of Snake with one major rule: every apple you eat swaps the snake's head and tail. The old tail becomes the new head, so the next move starts from the opposite end of your body.
Eat, Swap, and Keep Moving
Eating an apple makes the snake grow and increases your score. Immediately afterward, control shifts to the other end. The new head moves away from the rest of the body, and if that direction is blocked, it takes the first open side.
That makes the position of your tail important before every apple. A tail pointing toward an open area gives the new head somewhere to move after the swap. A tangled body or nearby wall can leave you with very little room to react.
The round ends if the snake hits the board edge or its body. As the snake gets longer, each head-and-tail swap can change your position more dramatically.
How to Play
- Desktop: Press Play or an arrow key to start and control the snake
- Phones / Tablets: Swipe to move
Keep the snake as straight as possible when you can, and check where the tail is pointing before collecting an apple. After the swap, be ready to steer immediately because your new direction starts from the opposite end.
Survival Tips & Customization
Keeping your snake's body in a straight line ensures predictable tail placement right before you feed. Before grabbing an apple, glance at where your tail currently points—that cell is your immediate starting point a second later.

- Fruit & Speed: Choose from 13 fruit models, 1 to 5 active apples (or lots), 3 movement speeds, 11 snake colors (including rainbow), and 6 board themes
- Score Persistence: High scores save locally in your browser separately for each unique setup
