Snake Statue Mode puts a permanent twist on classic snake game: every apple you eat eventually creates a stone block. As your snake grows, the board gradually fills with obstacles created by your tail, making route planning increasingly important.
Build Your Own Obstacles
Eat apples to grow the snake and increase your score. After each apple, the next cell that your tail moves out of becomes a stone. The stone stays on the board for the rest of the round, so the space you leave behind can become a future danger.
Stone blocks are solid. Hitting one ends the round, just like crashing into the board edge or your own body. Since both the snake and stones take up more space as you continue, choosing where to collect apples can affect which paths remain open.

Controls
Press Play or an arrow key to start and control the snake on desktop. On a phone or tablet, swipe to move.
Keep an eye on the tail as well as the head. Since the stone appears at the cell your tail leaves, eating an apple can gradually create a barrier somewhere behind you. Keeping stones together near an edge or corner can leave more useful space elsewhere.
Customize the Challenge
Statue mode works with the available game settings. Choose 1, 3, 5, or lots of apples, slow, normal, or fast speed, and a small, medium, or large board. You can also select different fruits, 11 snake colors including rainbow, and six board themes. Shuffle creates a random combination.
