Archery King is a 2D incremental RPG that merges wave-based target shooting with long-term character progression. Instead of static targets, players face waves of target-shaped monsters approaching their position. Defeating these enemies yields gold, rare loot, and crafting materials necessary for pushing through increasingly difficult content in the land of Zad.
How to Play Archery King
Players must aim at approaching target-shaped monsters and shoot arrows to defend their position. Collecting coins and inspecting items requires precise mouse targeting. Defeated foes reward players with resources that fuel continuous combat upgrades.
Controls
- Mouse Movement: Aim at target monsters, inspect item details, and collect coins on the field
- Left Click: Shoot arrows and select items within menus, skills, or crafting blueprints
Core Progression and Gathering Systems
Combat strength relies heavily on stat upgrades such as damage, attack speed, multi-shot, and piercing. Multi-shot adds extra arrows per attack, while piercing allows arrows to pass through front-line enemies to hit targets behind them. As opponents become stronger, players can evolve into five specialized archer professions/jobs to access advanced abilities.
Beyond active shooting, resource gathering is crucial for long-term power
- Mining & Herbing: Gather essential materials including coal, iron, gold, and gemstones. Upgrading pickaxes speeds up material collection
- Crafting & Alchemy: Use collected materials to craft bows, forge armor, brew empowering potions, and socket magical runes
- Companions & Mastery: Recruit wolves and bears to deal additional damage and absorb incoming attacks. Further stats can be unlocked through the massive Skill Tree, Mastery stats, and late-game Prime and Awaken systems
