Ready to enter a world where every dark corridor could hide a monster or a valuable secret? Hexbound puts you in the role of Palmer, a demon hunter battling through five corrupted worlds. Combining retro FPS action with powerful spells, weapon variety, and exploration, the game rewards players who can shoot quickly while thinking ahead. From haunted castles to demonic Hell, every level offers another dangerous maze to conquer.

How Hexbound Works

Hexbound keeps its gameplay moving through a simple but exciting loop: explore, fight, collect, upgrade, and push forward.

  • Fast-Paced Movement: Combat is built around constant movement. Sprint through dangerous areas, strafe around incoming projectiles, and manage your distance from enemies using WASD and mouse controls. Staying mobile is essential when several monsters attack at once.
  • Maze Navigation: Levels are more than straight paths to the exit. Search for colored keys, activate hidden switches, and open locked pathways to uncover the route forward. Remembering unexplored areas can save time when you find a key later.
  • Resource Collection: Gold and other useful resources found during a run support long-term progression. Exploring side areas can give you more resources to strengthen Palmer before facing tougher enemies.

Controls

  • WASD / Arrow Keys: Move
  • Mouse: Aim and Shoot
  • Spacebar: Jump

How to Survive Longer

  • Keep Moving: Sprint and strafe constantly to dodge enemy attacks and avoid getting surrounded.
  • Save Powerful Resources: Don't waste your strongest weapons, spells, or ammunition on weak enemies. Keep them ready for tougher fights.
  • Explore for Upgrades: Search hidden rooms, secret passages, and side paths for gold, gear, and resources that can improve your chances of surviving later levels.
