In Shady Cats, your own movements can become your biggest threat! This colorful arcade platformer challenges you to guide a cat across platforms, collect acorns, and avoid shadows that repeat your previous movements. Retracing your steps can put you in danger, so finding safe routes is just as important as gathering rewards.

Collect Acorns and Outsmart Your Shadow

Move and jump through each level while watching out for your pursuing shadow. Every movement creates a trail that the shadow can repeat, and touching it ends your run. Fish offer bonuses and multipliers for collecting acorns, but they also attract bees that introduce extra hazards. Fireflies provide temporary protection by eliminating shadows, giving you a chance to escape dangerous situations.

After completing levels, you can choose power-up cards such as Shield, Vanish, and Magnet. These advantages add more options to your survival strategy.

• Player 1: A / D or Q / D to move; W / Z to jump
• Player 2: F / H to move; T to jump
• Player 3: J / L to move; I to jump
• Player 4: Left / Right Arrows to move; Up Arrow to jump

Play Solo or Share the Keyboard

Shady Cats supports local multiplayer for up to four players on one device. Each player controls a different cat and must avoid their own shadow while navigating shared spaces. You can cooperate to survive longer or compete for higher scores.

Single-player fans can also try Crazy Mode, where endless levels are haunted by shadows from previous movements. Explore five locations, including Backyard, Living Room, Rooftops, Kitchen, and Fishing Pier. Collect 22 cats, earn 48 medals, and compete on five leaderboards.
