Popslime combines cursor-based monster hunting with idle RPG progression. Sweep your mouse across the arena to attack colorful slimes while your Archer, towers, and special skills deal automatic damage. Every run brings gold and loot to spend on upgrades, helping you tackle tougher monsters and unlock new stages.

Gameplay: Hunt Slimes and Upgrade Your Build

Your goal is to defeat enough monsters before the countdown reaches zero. Keep your cursor over a slime until the attack ring fills, then target another enemy. Successful runs provide resources for improving your damage and unlocking new combat systems.

The 167-node upgrade tree gives you plenty to develop. You can strengthen your Archer, build five types of towers, equip runes, and mine ores to create upgradeable gems. Four automatic skills—Lightning Chain, Rain of Arrows, Knight Slash, and Vampire Explosion—add more damage to your setup. Finding shiny monster variants also provides lasting bonuses.

Progress Through Stages and Endless Mode

Popslime features 40 campaign stages with increasingly powerful monsters. Defeat enough enemies to unlock the next stage, or revisit completed stages to farm gold and loot. Boss Runs pit you against Slime Overlords, while Treasure Runs focus on collecting rewards from chests. After the main campaign, Endless Mode lets you continue pushing forward.

The Automator adds another layer of convenience by replaying runs and purchasing upgrades automatically. You can also compare your progress through daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards.
