Tilewake 2048 blends two familiar arcade ideas into one growing arena challenge: snake-style movement and 2048-style merging. Guide your tail around the arena, collect numbered cubes, and let matching values merge automatically into stronger cubes. As your tail grows, larger rivals can become a threat, so movement and well-timed boosts matter.
Grow Your Tail Through Merges
Collecting cubes extends your colorful tail, while matching numbers combine into higher-value cubes. Each successful merge strengthens the leading cube, allowing your growth to progress toward values such as 512, 1K, 2K, and beyond.
Growth also comes with risk. Larger rivals can threaten your run, so you need to steer carefully while deciding when to collect cubes and when to use your boost. Boosting can help you escape danger or take an opportunity, but its energy gradually refills after use.
Controls
- PC: Move the mouse to steer your snake. Hold the left mouse button to activate the speed boost
- Mobile & Tablet: Drag one finger anywhere on the screen to steer. Touch and hold a second finger to activate the speed boost
Arena and Survival Modes
The game offers two ways to approach the arena. In the regular arena, growing your cubes and tail helps you climb the arena ranking. You can also unlock distinctive avatars as you progress.
Survival mode puts 10 contenders into the competition. Here, growth is only part of the challenge: the objective is to remain the last contender standing. This gives the cube-merging system a more direct survival focus.
