Snake Orchard is an arcade puzzle snake game set inside a cozy, shifting hedge maze where classic snake mechanics meet a modern fruit-collection challenge. Your main objective is to guide your snake to eat apples, grow longer, build high combo multipliers, and survive the expanding walls without hitting boundaries or your tail.
Gameplay and Orchard Mechanics
The core loop revolves around managing fruit types while navigating an increasingly crowded board. As your score increases, new hedge walls appear to restrict your movement. You must balance growth against spatial limits using three distinct apple types
- Red Apples: Give standard points and increase your snake's length
- Golden Apples: Provide high-value score rewards, but disappear if you take too long to reach them
- Rotten Apples: Act as hazardous penalties that shrink your snake by two segments and break active combo multipliers
Eating apples back-to-back within a couple of seconds triggers combo multipliers that rapidly boost your final score. You can choose from three difficulty modes—Easy (slower gameplay, fewer obstacles), Normal (balanced challenge), and Hard (faster speed, more obstacles, dangerous rotten apples).
