Wave Race puts a small spaceship in a simple but demanding arcade challenge. Your task is to fly through a wave-like outer-space setting, pass through hoops for points, collect balls, and travel as far as possible before crashing. The controls take seconds to understand, but keeping the ship on the right path requires careful timing.
How Wave Race Works
Surviving the tricky space terrain requires mastering asymmetric flight physics.
Your main goal is distance—surviving as many seconds as possible without crashing into the environment. Balancing your altitude is difficult because the downward drop happens far quicker than the upward climb.
To maximize your score, you cannot simply play it safe. You need to actively align your flight path to shoot through floating hoops scattered along the wave trail. While aiming for hoops increases your risk of crashing, it awards crucial extra points. Throughout your run, you will also spot floating balls. Collect these items during your flights to save up currency and buy new spaceships in the game store.

- Release: Instantly cut power to make your ship rapidly descend
